Data controller

The data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Paulina Ostrowska-Baczkowska, who runs the Chocolate Wish kennel, contact: kontakt@chocolatewish.pl.

What data we process

This site has no contact form and no user registration. Any personal data we receive comes only from messages you send us yourself — by email or phone, after clicking a contact link on the site. We don't collect this data automatically through the site.

Cookies and analytics

The site only uses strictly necessary cookies (session, CSRF protection) required for it to function properly — these don't require your consent. We use Umami for traffic analysis, an analytics tool that doesn't use cookies and doesn't collect data that could identify an individual visitor. We self-host Umami on our own server within the European Union (at stats.chocolatewish.pl) — we don't use Umami Cloud or any other third-party analytics provider.

Legal basis and purpose of processing

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you share this way (e.g. name, email address, message content) in order to reply to your inquiry — based on the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in handling correspondence.

Data recipients

The site is hosted with an external hosting provider (OVH), on a server located in Poland, in the European Union — your data is not transferred outside the EEA. We don't sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Retention period

We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry, and, if further cooperation follows (e.g. a puppy reservation), for as long as that relationship requires.

Your rights

You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, data portability, and to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (UODO).
